I am an acquired taste they say

Morning rays flooding the boards
Things enjoyed first thing in the morning
Are special enough for their very own odes
To some I am bitter, to some a vice
I come hand-picked and roasted nice
I’m Peet’s Sierra Dorada, a signature blend
Displaced once a while by whatever’s the trend
But for Gabby I will simply remain
A brew invented to keep her man sane
Screwing with Mr.G’s coffee, to simply state
Is like playing with fire or tempting fate!!!

mr. G has a good taste in coffee :) .. that’s one of my favorite blend too ( though the decaf sucks pretty bad… but then all decafs do).
And it is always a good book I like with my coffee!! Good place to come!! :-0}
thats a nice poem, but the rhyming doesnt seem to follow any form. though there is no rule that says you should follow any rhyming rules, it is a little distracting as the flow gets disturbed by the on and off rhyme.
the content however is good. I know most of us write here for fun and it is a pain to take rules and theories of form and structure into consideration, these in the end are what differentiate a good poem from an average one.
